Application Deadlines

Applications for admission will not be processed until all materials have been received by the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development. The applicant is responsible for assuring that all credentials are received by the following deadlines:

  • Nov 1 for spring matriculation
  • March 1 for fall matriculation

Please Note: The School Psychology program and the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program have one deadline: Feb 1

Financial Aid Available

FSEHD graduate applicants may apply for federal aid, federal work-study funds, student loan programs, merit-based scholarships, and graduate assistantships.

Admission Requirements by Program

Admission Requirements for MA, MED and MS Programs

Required Credentials

Applicants must have the following credentials:

  • a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college
  • a teaching certificate (except for clinical mental health counseling and health education applicants)

Required Materials

Applicants must submit the following:

  • application fee of $50
  • 3 professional references from persons acquainted with the applicant's academic ability and aptitude
  • official graduate and undergraduate transcripts
  • official standardized test scores on the GRE - this requirement varies based upon program-specific requirements
  • professional goals essay (see Written Application Materials tab for details)
  • performance-based evaluation (see Written Application Materials tab for details)
  • resume
  • program-specific requirements
